Marine Sports

Based 10 minutes from the City Campus at the University-sponsored Hyundai Marine Sports Centre in Okahu Bay, marine and water sports at the University have continued to grow, despite the challenges of 2021.

The University sailing programme saw 77 students and staff take part in five courses offered as part of the sailing pathway programme, ranging from first time sailors to those wanting to race competitively.

Several University clubs are now based out of the Hyundai Marine Sports Centre, including the ever popular dive, waka ama and kitesurfing clubs.
