Inter-Residential Championship

Every year, kainoho | residents come together in friendly competitive matches to represent their halls in Ngā Wharenoho | Accommodation. While lockdowns in Tāmaki Makaurau | Auckland reduced their ability to compete in person, it did not squash their spirits!

This year’s Inter-Residential Championship featured events in:

Volleyball – Winner: Waipārūrū Hall

Futsal – Winner: University Hall Towers

Debating – Winner: Waipārūrū Hall

Online Gaming 1 & 2– Winner: Carlaw Park Student Village

Green Your Room – Winner: Unilodge North

Basketball: – Winner: Waipārūrū Hall

Quiz– Winner: Unilodge South

Talent Quest – Winner: University Hall Towers

The overall champions were University Hall Towers! Carlaw Park Student Village and Waipārūrū Hall tied for second and third place.
